INTERNAL SINGLES LEAGUES

INTERNAL DOUBLES LEAGUES

Festive Fun Fundraiser tournament

to remember club member Richard Dixon

and to celebrate the huge enjoyment and

happiness that tennis brought to his life.

An afternoon of Tennis, Tea, Wine and more!

 Date:  Sunday 2 December

Time:  Arrive at 1:00pm (for 1.30 start)

The aim is to raise money for MIND, the mental health charity, in memory of Richard. Please bring at least £2 for Tennis and Tea.

Mulled wine also available throughout the event!

Come and enjoy an afternoon of fun tennis, further games indoors in the clubhouse, a delicious tea (from about 3.30pm), and presentation of the Richard Dixon Memorial Cup. The tea, wine and games indoors will still happen if weather is bad.

There will be a raffle, also in aid of MIND. If you would like to donate a raffle prize, please wrap it at home so there will be some element of surprise for the winners!

Richard’s family are delighted we’re staging the event and will be around on the day.

Festive fancy dress (or at least a Santa hat, Christmas jumper or red T-shirt etc required!)

A good number of members have already entered but if you haven’t, please do so now (as individuals – we’ll draw up a playing format on the day, so everyone, of any tennis ability, will have fun with no pressure playing). Email christine.hood@gmail.com by Sunday 25th November.

If you would just like to join in for tea, without playing, that's fine too,

but please contact Chris Hood (christine.hood9@gmail.com) so we know how many to cater for.

Please come along!
